So here is a design that was first create by Jenny R. while attempting to create a Peace Sign tee without watching my video like she usually does, Her result was awesome and I dubbed it to 'Huggable Peace Sign'. I told her I wanted to recreate it and she said to go for it.  Here is the first one I made and then from here I went on to make two videos of the process ... the first one was LIVE and done exactly one year from the day I first saw her design... then the second one I did to compare the difference between the Huggable & Regular Peace Signs on Tapestries to make it more clear.  Here are links to both videos : Huggable Peace Sign  on a tee

Adult Medium Midnight Rainbow Spiral Tee ... I Love to put Black with the Rainbow, I think it makes the colors Brighter, even if it darkens them some... so I have been experimenting with the Midnight Rainbow Spiral for many years in several different ways. (Oh and when I say 'Midnight' ... that means I am using a lot of Black within the Tie-Dye 😉)

3D Tees ...  I decided to start with some already tie-dyed tees ... I tied them up, discharged them and then re-dyed them (Dyed, Discharged,Dyed = 3D)

I have been having fun with a new technique... Discharging or Reversing.  I start with a Black tee, tie it up and remove color in a pattern and then I add color back in.  Here is another set of Midnight Rainbows in various sizes ...  Adult Small for this one.

So, Dharma got some Awesome new Ice Dye Colors in stock and it made me want to play with some Ice Dyeing...  so I scrunched up some tee, loaded them with ice and then sprinkled on some fantastic new colors... here is my first one for 'Kaleidoscope Eyes'.

So, I just purchase some of the NEW UV Dyes from Dharma Trading Co. ... it is called ~  Psychedelic Sunshine #420 ...  it is the ONLY Fiber Reactive Fluorescent dye that works on cellulose fibers like cotton and it is Awesome, although I am still working on getting the best photos of the Glow... I bought one Black Light and then had to buy a stronger one to get these photos ...  This dye is a bit more expensive than the rest of the dyes I use, so there will be an extra 'Dye' charge on ALL of the Black Light GLOW Tees.  I am going to play with some color mixing to see what else I can do with this Dye, so stay tuned for some fun in the Psychedelic Sunshine 🥳 ✌️

Hello, my name is Carl, aka MrTieDye. I am a Dye Artist and I love the medium of tie-dye.  I push the boundaries of tie-dye to places few people have seen.  I am constantly asked "how did you do THAT with tie-dye?"
I started twisting tees and splashing dye in August 2000 and quickly realized the unlimited potential of the tie-dye medium. I have experimented with many techniques of tie-dye as I explored its history. Now, along with my peers, I am boldly contributing to the future of this dynamic new face now emerging in the World of Art ~ Tie-Dye!
