Here is a video for the  Time Warp  design, to make a Time-Warp Spider tee, I Centered the tee like normal for a Spider Design, but before I twisted the tee, I rolled up a bit of it and then twisted from there, giving me a Time-Warp Spider design.

I love experimenting with new processes .... the latest one I have been working with is Discharging.  For this, I start with a Black or other color tee, fold and tie it up and then I remove color from the tee leaving a patten of light tan and black.  From here you can rinse well or wash and then add color back in.  I tied this one back up and dyed it to accent the Rose.

I love to experiment with Tie-Dye ...  Here is an Experiment I did the other day, I randomly scrunched and tied the tee up, then added my dyes and then I went to add the Soda Ash (activates the dyes so they can bond with the cotton fibers) and I got part of the tee coated really good and a little splash on the rest of it... I filled the bottle back up, but got distracted before I added more Soda Ash to the rest of the tee ...  this caused me to have a bright spot with the rest of the tee in muted tones due to the lack of enough soda ash ... I think it looks kinda cool as I love Contrast ... so, another One of a Kind tee is ready for you to wear. ✌🏻💚😎 

But, just so you know, they dyes that are present are fully set, just muted.

I love this art and sometimes I just sit down at my table, then twist, fold & tie the tee  randomly ... it like the tee tells me how it wants to be folded ... I call these 'Intentionally Random' Designs as a bit of randomness goes into each fold of the tee and then it is randomly Ice Dyed...  Great One-of-a Kind tee!!

Hello, my name is Carl, aka MrTieDye. I am a Dye Artist and I love the medium of tie-dye.  I push the boundaries of tie-dye to places few people have seen.  I am constantly asked "how did you do THAT with tie-dye?"
I started twisting tees and splashing dye in August 2000 and quickly realized the unlimited potential of the tie-dye medium. I have experimented with many techniques of tie-dye as I explored its history. Now, along with my peers, I am boldly contributing to the future of this dynamic new face now emerging in the World of Art ~ Tie-Dye!
